I'm Perlucidula - Pearl for short.
Based in Wellington, New Zealand.
I make lots of different things. I work mainly in traditional media: colour pencils, india ink, watercolour, & more. Sometimes I make digital artwork. Other times I create, or modify, plushies, dolls, masks, and small sculptures.
I'm working towards becoming a tattoo artist. Other future plans include working on murals and wall art, and learning a musical instrument!
I take inspiration from a wide variety of things, including animals, plant life, folklore, horror and fantasy media, music, video games, historical and alternative fashion, Catholic imagery, and so forth.
Often, though, it's just whatever first crosses my mind.
